Party time, excellent

I know you're all dying to know about my HausPartei. It's going to be Saturday night, July 28th. If you replied to the poll, you should be added to the e-mail list for when the invite goes out. If you think you can make it and would like an invite, please don't hesitate to let me know, even if you're on the list already. If you can't make it and would like to be off the list, please also let me know. If you're certain you're going to attend, you can go ahead and send me an RSVP e-mail (I'll still send you the e-mail invite so you know when to show up). And don't worry, I'm not using evite or anything so you don't have to worry about your e-mail address' sanctity. I think I have like 20-25 invitees (not counting SOs), of whom I'm sure at most 25% will actually attend. But hey, maybe people will be really interested!

I wish I had more info for the rest of you, but the point of this entry was to beg clemency. I am trying to organize the scattering of my father's ashes with my family so party planning is not really high on the list. But there will be a party and it will definitely be sometime that Saturday. Folks can even come and go as they please. But info on parking/transit/directions, the actual time we'll be starting, and any other info (like "bring a dish" or whatnot) will be forthcoming. And it'll def. be BYOB, because I don't keep any alcohol on hand. And if you're too drunk to drive, I will kick your ass, take your keys, and call you a cab; not necessarily in that order. Or let you crash here (as long as you're not pukey). Couch, air mattress, and sleeping bags are first come, first serve (so if you're going to pass out, do it early I guess?), but definitely available. I think we should be able to have a good time either way. I mean, I have TWO different Clue™ board games, fer crissakes.

And might I add, w00t, party at my place!
