Go Team Smandenberg!

I'm home, I think. I've got several chapters of my NC trip floating around my head: Lotus Operandi, Meating a Deer Friend, My Stars and Garters, The Reception Was a Smash (sorry Joe and Katy), etc.

The bowling alley is killing me. They need me to come in every morning this week (though I get to come home two days, including today), and they scheduled me on the evening of contadina's birthday. Umm, since I haven't heard back from the new bank on that job, I need to be sending out more resumes and stuff. I can't do that if I'm full-time at the bowling center. And if I don't have a job at the end of this month, and a lease, I'm homeless. That kinda makes it hard for me to remain on your payroll, esp. if I have to move to VT because I'm outdoors (to use John Lee Hooker's terminology).

I have a lot of things to do today. I was going to work on the motorcycle, but it's going to rain. What I really feel like doing is taking a nap. That might help me with the shortness of temper I've been having this morning. I'm cranky. I need a nap. How funny is that? But the vacation was nice, and I did indeed tell Amanda and Adam that they should "do this more often." Corny, I know.
