Life Progress

Resume is done, forwarded to contadina for editing help. Hopefully she will not tear it apart too much, because I'd like to send it out tomorrow morning before work. I got my shirt at the bowling center this morning, so I'm official. I made my first use of my employee discount today and did a whole mess of bowling. The lanes are oiled differently than they were at Helen Newman, so my first three games sucked (but hey, at least I'm getting good enough that I can start to notice the oiling differences). Average of all the games: 155. Average of the last three: 179. I bowled a 203 one game, thanks to a six-bagger (yes, six strikes in a row). I keep dropping my shoulder, though, so there's plenty of room for me to improve my score once I nail the consistency thing.

Tomorrow night, I'm going to Providence, RI, after work with tckma to rescue his poor car. $1,000 to fix a clutch? I'm glad what I thought were my own clutch troubles turned out to just be a loose connection.

I'm totally bummed that Link is becoming a righty. He was the left-handed video game character; a posterchild for a generation of lefties. Maybe this is a sign that it's time for me to get out of the video game playing world.
