Change is not a verb; it is a noun. It is not something that you do; it is done.

Change is the river and the river is endless. The river is permanence yet is ceaselessly flowing. Time is not endless; time is endless in the sense that a dot is endless. A point has no beginning and no end, only itself; only Now.

The river is but a symbol, and these are but words. Words can convey knowledge but not wisdom. Wisdom must be earned, not learned. Truth must be fought, not sought. For in seeking, one only finds what one is looking for. Only when one stops seeking can one find.

The secret to life is not prayer, not fasting, not meditation. The secret to life is living. And one generation can never shield another from this fact.
