GMail: What's the big deal?
Major talking points rebutted:
Size: I can have as much e-mail as I want hosted on my computer. If I wanted my e-mail out there on the internet for people to read.
Privacy: Speaking of which, any unencrypted e-mail you send can be read by anyone intercepting the message at any of the dozen or so servers that bounce your message to its destination.
Umm... the interface/searchability/etc: When is the last time you heard people clamoring for a product based on its usability? 80% of you are reading this on Internet Explorer. Nuff said.
