Rear-ended by year-end

I stopped to think for a moment and the 'end' of year came along. I thought for a minute that year-end retrospectives are trite and lame, but they're not always bad.

I don't have the brainpower for a year's recollections; I'm lucky if I can remember this morning (which I can't; I woke up after 3pm). I spent most of last night on the phone with my girlfriend lulling her to sleep by explaining the art of the RPG and recount some of my personal experiences. For two hours. See, I talk. You just have to ask me about the right things.

Why? I've been asked, then cajoled, then coerced into playing Ron Weasley in a LiveJournal RPG. What's that mean? I keep an lj in character. The true action is in the comments, and so far it's nuts nuts nuts. I'm not as good at it as knight_to_h3 in the nocturne_alley community, but it's practice writing in a character. Yay, writing.

I also got back to the people who e-mailed me earlier on. I told you I wasn't good at corresponding.

I changed my name this year, remember?

People are screaming outside so I guess it's New Year's. Kinda sad that people need an excuse to just scream out loud at midnight around the world. I just do it whenever I want, and I think I'm happier for it.

The following piece is a monologue I performed for "The Griot Show" last weekend: I get asked this question a lot: "Where are you from?"…

  • Coming to rest.

Copied from facebook (sorry, but it's something). One of the topics I was researching yesterday was sundive trajectories. It may be surprising, but…
