Oh and

Ego's counselor tonight remarked (tactfully) that ego seldom speaks about others. In effect, ego is very... egocentric. To which ego responded, in effect, "Duh."

We always said in college; not egotistic to the point of being self-aggrandizing, but egoistic by the nature of one's own solipsistic world.

Others are a need that has been suppressed, when extant. Sometimes they're not a need at all but a luxury. Some do without for lack of knowledge. Isn't it curious?
