Is it too late?

Is it too late

I know some of you actually download some of the songs I point you to, and I thank you for that. Sometimes, the above song—Jawbox's Capillary Life—for example, a song's emotional content you just can't grab from the lines. This particular song got heavy airplay on my last trip, especially on the flight home.

And yet, some things make me wonder. When she was scared and called me, was it only because she called him first and got no answer? Or did I really matter? What I've lost is not so much her as the ability to know the answer to that question... and others; but they all lead back to one question, as put in my head oh-so-aptly by Sleater-Kinney: "Was it a lie?" And how much of it, since we know the answer is yes. "And if so, if so, who answers, who answers?" Thank you for shutting me out of your life; the second best thing that ever happened to you.

I'm in the mood for a longer entry now, but lucky for you all,

Mmm... work. Soon I will sound like you.
