Hello Time Bomb!

Worth a mention

Dictionary.com's Word of the Day is lexicon.

That makes me giggle in places I didn't know I had.

I hate how /. articles never explain what they're talking about. They take for granted that you know every piece of tech and 'famous' geek they mention. Uhh, noooo... that's why I'm reading /.— to learn about this stuff. That's the one thing I've always hated about geek culture; the one thing that's ever kept me from being a true geek. They assume you know everything, and if you don't, you're the stupidest person who ever lived and not worth their time. Case in point, this comment from someone trying to tell a self-proclaimed neophyte how to format a drive. "You want to format a drive? Oh, just format it." Yes, but how?

Thanks for nuthin.

I'm working on it

Well, lookee

I've been playing with pixel art for the last hour or so as referred here by vinz_klortho.

I've created three different isometric representations of bricks, using 8 colors (including transparency), and a noise filter to make the bricks 'grittier'.

The first two are based on 90° rotation, the last is based on flipping horizontal. I'm thinking the last one looks best. It's also the smallest file size.
