False truisms.

"Why do I
always chase the ones that run?"

That would seem to be a truism, no? Like how you always find what you're looking for in the last place you look for it, because you stop looking. You can't chase one that doesn't run. Well, no, not true. Leona is singing about something more subtle, and more obvious. You can chase someone that doesn't run; most relationships involve some sort of pursuit; one person takes a little more initiative in starting the thing. Likewise, you don't always find what you're looking for in the last place you look. Example? Women. I don't think they guys out there can honestly tell me they've stopped looking at other women since finding Miss Right (as many of you as have found her or the current her).

So FUCKING HA! I am like a renegade Zen Buddhist; challenging your preconceptions unprovokedly and AT RANDOM.
